Located approximately 21 miles ESE of Pensacola Pass, the 387 feet M/S Antares wreck reef lies broken along the bottom. This is a great dive with structure at 90 to 130 feet deep. This intentionally sunk artificial reef has a lot of dives left in her.

Scuba divers in the area know that this is a good place for spearfishing prime game fish. You may see gag groupers, red snapper, scamp, cobia, amberjack and more.

The latitude/longitude gps coordinates will get you to the sunken reef. Motor around and fine tune the waypoints with your equipment or plotter. When Hurricane Opal came through in 1995, the ship was scattered across the bottom and broken into several large chunks.
The broken pieces cover a larger area now, but still great diving.
